Ben joins Iconic

We'd like to introduce singer-songwriter Benjamin Folke Thomas to you.

Five years ago Ben left his native Sweden to perform on the London live music circuit. He quickly made his mark, gaining a loyal following with his explosive brand of alt-country and Americana.

Described as 'Robert Johnson and Leadbelly meet Warren Zevon, Leonard Cohen and early Dylan', Ben is a mature songwriter, highly accomplished guitarist and inspired vocalist. Above all, he is an electrifying performer - the jaded London audiences hardly knew what had hit them at his shows. Ben went on to delight festival crowds at Glastonbury, Green Man, Larmer Tree and Cropredy among others.

We are not the only ones keen to introduce Ben to wider audiences. Bob Harris (a connoisseur of alt-country if ever there was one) chose Ben as one of the three 'BBC Introducing' acts who will accompany him to Nashville for the 2014 Americanas.

Ben performs as a soloist, duo or - primarily - leading his four-piece band. His show is tailored to venues holding between 100 and 300 people but we can offer show formats for smaller or larger capacities.

Ben is currently based in Sweden but he returns regularly to Britain. His next UK touring period will be the second half of April 2015. Dates are filling fast so don't miss out - to book Ben email us at media@iconicmusic.com or phone us on 01926 632946 / 07879 844397

PS: To help us keep our records up to date (and to save you getting unwanted emails) please let us know if you are no longer promoting gigs or programming at a music venue. Please feel free to forward this email to any colleagues you think appropriate.
